Lecture (Summer 2022): Condensed Mathematics and Complex Geometry

This course is joint with Dustin Clausen (University of Copenhagen) and will be held hybrid: On Tuesdays, 12:15 -- 14:00, Clausen will hold the lecture in Copenhagen and we will watch it in Room N0.008 at the University, while Thursdays, 12:15 -- 14:00, I will hold the lecture in the MPIM Lecture Hall. The first lecture takes place on Thursday, April 21, 2022, the last lecture will be on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Zoom Meeting ID: 970 8975 6734. Please contact me for the Passcode.

The plan is to introduce the basics on condensed abelian groups and liquid vector spaces, and then explain how to use the formalism to give analysis-free proofs of some basic theorems about compact complex manifolds, for example Finiteness of Coherent Cohomology, Serre Duality, and (Grothendieck-)Hirzebruch-Riemann-Roch.
